01 / ABOUT THE PLACE

About this place

When you want aromatic charcoal-grilled skewers paired with an unpretentious drink, Edokko is an easy spot to head toward. The drink list features classic izakaya favorites, including vibrantly colored umeboshi highballs and crisp Nihonshu Highball Karakuchi. Skewers like shiromotsu (tender white pork offal), akamotsu (red pork offal), and liver start at just 120 yen for 1 sticks, making ordering easy; leaving the selection to the chef's omakase skewer assortment is another reliable way to start.

A variety of small plates keep the table lively alongside the skewers. Rich motsu nikomi (simmered offal) and nikomi tofu (stewed tofu with offal broth) sit alongside lighter bites such as squid sashimi, ume kyu (cucumber with pickled plum paste), and charred shishito pepper stir-fries. Chu-hi and various sours are offered in both medium and large mug sizes, and draft beer can also be ordered in portions that fit your thirst.

The dining room comfortably accommodates solo diners dropping in for a post-work drink as well as lively groups sharing multiple plates. Open until 1:00 late into the night from Tuesday to Saturday and until 23:00 on Sundays, Edokko also accepts PayPay, making it a convenient choice for casual neighborhood nights out.
